Let’s see, Strapping Young Lad amounts to absolutely nothing. There is no appeal of that band, nothing at all. No originality, whatsoever and far too much hype for what it’s even worth. I don’t see how Devin Townsend or his countless other side projects are seen as something special. He doesn’t deserve the praise he receives, and he only gets that much because he’s so aloof, it’s not even his musicality. If anything he should retire from the music industry all together and make an attempt at comedy. Also, now that the dreadful skullet is gone, he looks like terrible rip off of Powder.
